About Stephanie
Stephanie (she/her) is a registered psychologist and a clinical psychology registrar committed to supporting clients in a safe and collaborative environment. She adopts a flexible approach to working toward her clients goals while incorporating their values and implementing evidence-based therapy modalities including Cognitive Behaviour therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and family therapy.
She has experience supporting adolescent and adult clients with a variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, grief/loss, gender dysphoria, sexual identity, and interpersonal issues. She has a particular interest in gender and sexuality related concerns, anxiety disorders, interpersonal challenges, and challenges within non-traditional relationships. Stephanie is polyamory, kink, sex worker, and LGBTQI+ friendly.
She has experience in a variety of settings including university counselling services, hospital settings, and private practice. She recently completed her Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Technology and is currently a PhD Candidate at UTS undertaking research in adolescent eating disorders.
